Are there any qualifications required to enter the contest?

You can enter the contest regardless of age, gender, or professional/amateur status.

Is there any fee to enter the contest?

There is no fee to participate. However, you are responsible for costs associated to the event day travel to Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR campus at Dadri near greater Noida in case you don’t register and avail the planned shuttle services.

Is entry limited to works taken during the Photography contest period?

Yes, all work has to be with that period and submitted online before the deadline.

Will submitted works be returned?

No, submitted works will not be returned; they become the property of Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR.

Can edited photos be submitted? To what degree can photos be edited and submitted?

You can submit photos processed and edited by camera applications, editing applications, software, etc. You may submit color or black and white photos.

Is it possible for a group to submit a single work?

Even works submitted by a group will be entered under one name of one representative.

If the work wins they will receive the award as a group.

The work is watermarked or includes copyright information. Is it possible to submit it?

No, you cannot submit works with copyright information or watermarks.

For photo submissions, the file size for each image must be within 20 MB, the recommended file format is JPEG/150 DPI or more, and RGB colour space is standard.

After entering, is it possible to submit my work to another contest?

No.

My photo has a date stamp. Can I submit it?

Yes, you can submit photos with or without a date stamp for this contest. Either is fine.

Will I receive notification that my work has been received?

Auto email will be sent for confirmation once the entry has been accepted to your register mail ID.

After entering, is it possible to cancel my entry and resubmit another work?

No.

What will happen if my data is lost or damaged due to an incident during data transmission?

Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR / SNF will not take responsibility for this, please make sure to back up and store your data prior to submission.

In the Photo Competition, what is a is a "photo story"?

A "photo story" is a work in which multiple photos are connected in a series. For this contest, you may submit photo stories consisting of 2 to 5 photos.

Is it possible to submit both a single photo and a photo story (set of multiple images)?

Yes, it is.

Is it possible to submit the same work in both the Single Photo and the Photo Story Categories?

No, you cannot submit a photo story that contains an image that is the same as or similar to a submitted single photo and you cannot submit multiple photo stories that contain the same or similar images as separate works.

Is it possible to enter all competitions?

You may enter all competitions. But even in this case, identical or similar works may not be entered as different works or in different competitions.

Please tell me the reasons for choosing the judges.

Judges are chosen with consideration to outstanding experience and knowledge, they are participating base on invitation by Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR & SNF.

Will I be able to receive an evaluation and advice from the judges?

We cannot provide evaluation or advice for items other than the award-winning works.

How are results determined?

Each award is chosen after multi round evaluation by the judging panel. The final evaluation is conducted through earnest discussion among all of the judges.

Where and when is the final evaluation held?

The final evaluation is planned to be conducted on March 24^th 2025.

When will results be available, and how will I know them?

Award winners only will be notified via an email to their registered email address by 26th March. Names & Detail will also be listed on the website.
